There is more to life than going through the motions.
Integrative well-being for people and the systems they’re part of.
Supporting individuals, educators, and teams to step out of autopilot and into regulated, resilient, and intentional ways of living and leading.
When life starts to feel like autopilot
Even when life looks full—or successful—on the outside, many people find themselves feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck in survival mode on the inside.
Autopilot can look like:
Moving from task to task without feeling grounded or present
Carrying stress that never fully releases, even during rest
Reacting instead of responding in relationships, parenting, or leadership
Knowing there has to be a different way—but not having access to the tools to find it
Autopilot is a nervous system response to modern life—constant input, pressure, responsibility, and pace without enough space to integrate or recover.
Our work begins by helping people slow the system down just enough to feel safe again in their own bodies. From there, clarity, connection, and choice become possible.
And that’s exactly where meaningful change starts.
What We Do
(In Real Terms)

Here’s what people have shared after experiencing
The Motion of Gratitude®.
This is a really great program for mental, social, and physical well-being! I think this practice, if maintained, can be a huge contribution to longevity, as much as exercise, sleep, getting preventative medical care, and eating all the right foods!
— Susan (Educator)
This experience has truly been amazing. At first, I struggled, and I found it hard to focus on the good in my life. But over time, especially in the past week, I've noticed a shift. Thank you for creating such a meaningful and supportive experience.
-Sydney (Leadership Team Member)
“The tools Shannon has taught me along with her warm and caring way have been a gift to me. I am blessed to know her and to have the opportunity to continue to learn from her”
— Mollie (Parent & Caregiver)
The Motion of Gratitude experience has been a game-changer for me. It’s engaging, manageable day to day, and challenges me in the best ways—especially in today’s fast-paced world. It’s helped me slow down, be more present, and retrain my brain to look for the good. I’m so grateful for this practice and the positive impact it’s had on my mindset and daily life
— Gwen (Parent & Licensed Therapist)

The Motion of Gratitude® is a family-led movement rooted in lived experience.
After years of doing everything “right” on the outside while feeling overwhelmed and disconnected on the inside, we discovered that sustainable change doesn’t come from pushing harder—it comes from creating space.
Today, we bring together integrative well-being practices, leadership development, and real-world application to support individuals and the systems they’re part of—helping people return to presence, clarity, and capacity in daily life.
